I don't hate Bush, but I"m not a fan of his and I can understand why people do. Imagine this...you're working for a company and your boss is continuously asking you to come up with new ideas to move the company forward. You come up with what you believe to be great ideas and when it comes time to present what you come up with your boss shuts you down and comes up with something himself that is the complete opposite of what you had planned and he doesn't incorporate any of your ideas into his plan. You kind of shrug it off because it might work, but as you continually keep presenting your ideas and keep getting shut out for his ideas which aren't working at all, you become frustrated at him because all your work is for nothing. You gain support from the majority of your co-workers, and they express to your boss that they think your plans for the company should be the new way to go because they fear the company is heading for bankruptcy and they will be out of a job. The boss again refuses to listen or even incorporate your ideas into the plans. You now hate your boss because of his arrogance to do what the majority of people want. George Bush may feel what he is doing is the right thing to do, and in some cases it's a good idea to make the tough choice despite heavy opposition, but when the majority of voices out there become completely obsolete the guy who has power it tends to create hatred for George Bush among many people

It is not a matter of hate. But it is a matter of contempt. Why, you ask? Let me count the ways...
His administration has shamed and embarrassed this great nation and its people and US integrity and prestige is at its lowest point ever.
His Administration has divided and polarized this country to levels not seen since the Civil War.
His administration has embarked on a no-win war. They knew it. they planned it and we will be in it for GENERATIONS to come. Make no mistake about it.
His Administration is bankrupting this country. Check and see how much of our paper China and Saudi Arabia hold!
His Administration has disregarded the environment totally
His Administration has rejected science in favor of superstition.
His Administration is disregarding the poor
........ How much more does one need to feel utter contempt?

I don't hate him. I don't understand a lot of the immature Bush bashing that goes on. Now, I don't agree with him on pretty much everything he says and does. I don't agree with his approach to Iraq. I don't agree with his stances on same-sex marriage, stem-cell research, tax cuts, or how to handle terrorism and national security. I don't like listening to him speak as I tend to cringe when I listen to poor public speakers.
I respect the guy because he's the President, and he has the hardest job in the country. I respect him because he seems to really believe what he's doing is the right thing. I respect him because he seems to have stayed firm in his stances the entire time.
I don't agree with him because he doesn't seem to be listening to anyone but himself, and while it's OK to be firm in your beliefs, it's always better to come to a compromise.
Now, it's likely that I would disagree with him because I'm on the other end of the political spectrum than him; however, I'm marrying someone who voted for President Bush, and I've learned a lot about the conservative perspective on politics. So, all of that talk about liberals being this and that is a major generalization. Some of us liberals have actually given the President a chance, and some of us do still respect him.
As for him being a liar . . . what politician doesn't lie? Honestly, if you think he's the only one who lies, you aren't paying close enough attention.

I dislike his appearance, he still seems like a drunk. He should avoid all kinds of drugs. If he cuts the coffee and drinks with his wife and the Honorable Vice President, he would make a better impression to the media, not to mention better his health. Of course, the people in charge of the media can make the president seem anyway they want. Therefore, I blame all the idiots on the boob tube for turning on of the most revolutionary presidents into the most idiotic. Steel nuts do not an idiot make.

Because he lied about the need for a war in Iraq, and got his Administration lying to everyone else as well. Then he had the audacity to blame the Intelligence community, when it was many of them, at the cost of their carers, that told him there was no evidence to support the claims he was making. It was his lust for war and his alone that has got so many killed.
