Virgo & Aries
When Aries and Virgo come together in a love match, they may think at first that they have nothing in common and nothing to learn from one another. This relationship takes time to develop as each partner must learn to understand where the other is coming from. Aries and Virgo can seem like total opposites: While Aries is brash, dominant and aggressive, always jumping into new things and almost always impatient, Virgo is detail-oriented and quiet, even shy, and works patiently toward long-term goals. Aries's energy is fiery and impetuous while Virgo's is much slower and more grounded. It's these very differences, however, that can teach Aries and Virgo so much, once they just look beneath one another's surfaces to see what lies beneath.
Early in the relationship, Aries and Virgo may see nothing but one another's faults. Virgo thinks Aries is way too brash, and Aries thinks Virgo is extremely fussy. But if they focus on one another's strengths instead, they'll discover a great deal. Aries teaches Virgo about fun and excitement, about the spontaneity that is often missing in Virgo's life. Virgo teaches Aries patience and attention to detail, the knowledge that the little things -- and moments -- are important too. Aries can teach their Virgo lover to take things less seriously. Virgo can teach Aries to be polite and value hard work.
Aries is ruled by the Planet Mars and Virgo is ruled by the Planet Mercury. Aries wants to rush out and fight without wasting time preplanning or strategizing. Conversely, Virgo wants to analyze everything and work out all the details before acting. These are such opposite approaches that strife can result. Both Signs must make a conscious effort to learn from one another's method rather than letting their partner's natural rhythm bother to the point of distraction.
Aries is a Fire Sign and Virgo is an Earth Sign. Where Aries is all fiery impetuosity, Virgo is grounded practicality. Virgo weighs all the options before devoting any serious effort, while Aries simply sees what they want and dives in! This is true both in career and in personal relationships -- which can be something of a stumbling block. If Aries has decided it's Virgo they want, they might be frustrated for some time to come, waiting for Virgo to make up their mind about whether the relationship is a good idea.
Aries is a Cardinal Sign and Virgo is a Mutable Sign. Virgo doesn't need to be the leader or the boss; they're glad to follow another's suggestion once they decide it's a viable one. Aries, on the other hand, wants to make those suggestions -- every time. This is a beneficial dynamic if these two Signs are working as a team toward a common goal.
What's the best aspect of the Aries-Virgo relationship? Their great effectiveness as a team -- business or personal. Their personalities, opposite in so many ways, make for a highly complementary relationship.

HUM... depends on who is male and who is female. Both signs are rather intelligent when it comes to learning from books but they can be rather "thick" when it comes to real life issues. Both are good with money. Virgo's have "certain ways" of doing things and have little tolerance for anything else - Aries can be lazy which drives Virgo nuts. Virgo can be blunt and hurt feelings, Aries are rather sensitive and can anger quickly. Aries loves the "Arts", Virgo loves to BE artistic. Aries are stubborn, Virgos do NOT give in. BOTH signs tend to hold grudges a LONG time. Fights between these two get UGLY! I say these two would be too controlling of each other, and neither one tolerates being told what to do well at all.

I am an Aries and my husband is a Virgo. We have been married for 35 years and are still doing fine. Does marriage take work? Of course, all relationships take work, understanding and comprimise. The importance of the relationship is how you feel about the person and what your goals in life with this person are. So, yes, there is hope for a Virgo and an Aries.

From Starlight Astrology:
"Virgo is a thinking individual who lives more cerebrally than physically and Aries is the action packed go getter who does not like to spend too long standing in the same place as there are worlds to conquer. If Aries and Virgo can develop mutual hobbies and habits they will have a common ground for basing a relationship on but without this type of sharing then their life together would become unbearable for each of them.
The relationship could deteriorate to the point where, instead of listening to one another they are caught up in a round of putting each others suggestions and ideas for improving the relationship down. If they do not recognize this tendency and check it early on they will not stand a chance of surviving the personality clashes and will soon branch off in different directions...alone.
Virgos are caring individuals willing to sacrifice themselves for the sake of others and Aries should not grow impatient over this as there is no other sign that is better suited for taking care of someone in ill health as the Virgoan. Sexually Virgo is too ready to please Aries, going along with all his/her suggestions but Aries may feel some should come from Virgo and he/she could become restless.
Bossy Aries will not take kindly to the criticisms of Virgo, even if they are well meant, as they will undermine the Arian sense of discovery and throw the Arian into a depression. If the charts are well aspected for these two it could work, but it will take a lot of effort on both sides. "
There are lots of website that list compatibility matches, they are quite interesting and fun, and can be found on Google. Take care! :-D

Let me first say that astrology is not maths, and besides the sun sign, the rising and lunar also have big effects on your relations with any sign.
Normally, aries and virgo dont do well, for alot of reasons:
Virgo is exigent, organized, serious and aries is not organized, can be quite goofy and dislike exigences.
Aries like to boss around, stuburn, normally dont think before they open their mouths to offend and do not think before they act too, which seems to be quite childish and arrogant. virgo cannot stand that, because they too are stuburn but also very sensitive.
Virgo is calm, not very romantic, you often keep your feelings to yourself and are not the "kissy-huggy" type. Aries is completly the contrary, they love it (more to have than give),so it gets both angry.
Both need a little patience with eachother. if virgo leaves the serious side apart and actually try to be more outgoing and pacient, and Aries stops being bossy and more comprehensive and less stuburn, you can give along fine.Pls,notice that it doest mean all virgos and all aries are like that, but if this is your case, try to be a little flexible too! ;-)

Opposites do attract. I am a virgo and was in a relationship with an aries for 8 yrs...but got along most of the time...like most relationships you have problems but I needed someone more grown up to my level and we finally split away from each other but we are still friends

Nope, not really. I'm an aries and can't stand the way virgo's are neat freaks in EVERYTHING. Virgo's also think they know what's best in someone else's life. They are quick to tell other people what to do or how to fix it, if it's a problem to them. They also get quite emotional.
