Man decides his path/way but God determines his steps.(Prov16:9)... The world is run by atoms, energy and information.
DNA is information. (btw - information can not be without intelligence) - Analogy - We're all on a ship - the ships destination is God's will - we are all playing and moving about on the ship.

Under the doctrine of absolute pre-determination, society cannot hold us responsible if we decide to get drunk and our actions result in an automobile accident. Such incidents would have been part of a chain of causality that originated with the beginning of the universe. If we have no Free Will, there can be no responsibility and no punishments. Society could not exist.

The speculation that we have no free will defies common sense and our everyday experience of life. With the intervention of free will, our future, and thus the future of the universe, will follow a path different from the path it would have pursued without our intervention.

In addition to scientific considerations, common sense insists that Free Will exists. Who would deny that we have Free Will when we put one foot in front of the other and decide, of our own volition, of our own Free Will, to go for a walk or not go for a walk? It is clearly irrational to believe that a chain of causality (pre-determination) at the time of the Big Bang determines if we go for a walk this afternoon, or not.

Free will. Every action has a consequence. Some good some bad. Pre-determination is a cop out for people that don't want to accept that this world is the way it is because of the choices we have all made.

Free will. Those with the strongest wills are the ones running it. For most, their choice in free will is to be passive and be led because it's easier.

the world is not "ran", or run, by anything...it just is. molecules bouncing off of eachother - Molecules organizing and sorting themselves - Nature has innate organizational abilities that require no "running" or managing" ...it's all about the molecules. what is the unique type of molecule that eventually led to life as we know it? DNA. why are we all here? to contribute DNA.....it's called the digital river - or evolution. DNA does not need any management. It manages itself - THROUGH US and all other living things. We are DNA vehicles.
