I couldn't agree more there is like no MUSIC on music television

MTV died 10 years ago. Now, it's all reality shows and Crap Music. Sorry, but I missed out on the days when MTV played music videos 24/7. I bet it was great.
VH-1 is the same way. There is not one decent music station anymore. Not even the radio plays good music anymore. I live in California right now. There's not one music store around anymore. They asll closed down last year. The only place that sells CDs is WalMart. But they only have 2 types of music. Rap/Hip-Hop and Mexican.

I have to say im proud that they do not play Irreplacable every single minute like BET (only watched it once and never watched it again)
or VH1
Its going to get better when Eminem and other good artists come back.
Sucker Free Countdown is not hip hop its trash i mean they are playing pop songs on there now.
Can't wait till mariah carey comes back because from the looks of it MTV does not like beyonce.
Now all they do in the afternoons is play dumb jay-z videos.
I watch it in the morning when they play old school rap including guess.... my favorite rapper eminem.
All those fake dating shows are getting annoying.
MTV2 also is not that good.
But you have to notice are there are good songs out there?
I mean all the talk is about Irreplacable by bueynce and believe me the way radio is over playing her she is becoming replacabe in many people's eyes and i hope her 15 minutes of fame are up because i mean nas said hip hop is dead i say music is dead for 06.
But its going to get better the rap vetereans and rock vetereans are coming back with new albums.
Especially Em and Green Day

I don't know! I wondered that too.
I don't know if you live in Canada or not, and I don't know what the states MTV is like. But here in Canada they don't play ANY music videos! All they play is celebrity reports.
In the middle of a show it like cuts out to say that Angelina Jolie just coughed! haha. It is rediculous!
Oh well, I will stick to the ol' limewire for my music!

I totally agree with you. When MTV first aired it was great...all videos all the time. Now you are lucky to get to see one or two videos a day between the shite they air. They should change the name to NMTV (NOT music TV).

They suck! That's what happened. They show nothing but stupid reality shows and every once in a while, some rap videos.

Yeah, they should really change their name! Haven`t watched it in years...there`s only crap on i don`t care about and if they do play music it`s rap or hip hop....yikes

well now sice they have a new owner they just dont have the same people. they dont have the same thinkers. they really should do something about that.
