We get three different ones a week, and all they are is adverts and junk leaflets..

Our bins get rammed with this cr*p and with the soon to be green tax (aka "charge you twice council tax") we will be charged to get rid of, or be forced to take it to be recycled we never wanted it in the first place!! grrrr!

Yes you can.

Step 1 - put a note on your letter box saying 'No Free Papers Please' - Make it obvious

Step 2 - if any continue to be delivered after a week or so, contact the paper or distributor directly by telephone (numbers should be printed in the paper) asking to stop receiving the paper - keep it polite, and you shouldnt need to do any more

Step 3 - put it in writing

We stopped 3 papers by stage 2, by explaining that we were going on a 3week+ holiday and didn't want their papers sticking out of the letter box advertising the fact we were away.

They were quite accomodating...

Try giving the newspaper company a call and ask for distribution department. Tell them that you do not want anymore free papers. If that fails speak with the person who delivers them to you like I did and it worked.

Put a notice on your front door that you dont want deliveries. With our free paper, you can phone the publisher and they will tell the deliverers not to deliver

Call the companies that the papers come from and let them know you don't want them delivered. It might not stop them from coming but it's worth trying.

properly, thirty minutes is in basic terms a mile and a a million/2 walk and you're able to burn off lots of the greater energy that contain the greasy KFC meal. i think of cooking the nutrition is sufficient and turning in could make it too an excellent number of a complication.

you could tape up the letter box but that may cause problems for the postman....? or alternatively move abroad (i'm lucky if i get any post let alone junk!!!) or try a sign saying NO FREE PAPERS.
