I have a problem with my friend. Sorta: Okay, I like this guy named, Derrick. My friend, Cristina knew this. She is his ex. And They remained friends and I was okay with that. You know? No biggie.
Then... last night, Cristina called me and told me that thinks she is starting to like him again.
And I accidentally thought outloud, " But, you can't!"
She said, " Why, cuz you like him?"
I said, " No. It's just--"
She said, " Just-- what?"
I said, " Nothing."
And so, I don't want her to like him cuz she is so much prettier than me and I have a feeling that he's starting to like me. And I want him to.
And so, I don't know what to do. I'm afraid that he's gonna like her and not me.
And even though she knows that I like him she WILL flirt with him.
She's like that.
And yeah, I know she's not a very good friend if she does that.
But, nobody is/has a good friend in my school.
Which is sad.
So HELP ME!!!!

well at least you know one thing, she didn't flirt with him, even if she flirts with him, she first told you that she was in love with him, if it were something else, she woulda flirt with him, and then you woulda discover them together, it would be worst,
second, shes not prettier, maybe she LOOKS prettier in the outside, but is she prettier in the inside, i think pretty people aren't nice (i could also say that not every one, NOT EVERYONE) but are you nice? or are you more like mean? or is she the mean one? if shes the mean one, and he gets to be with her, then he likes mean girls, Right? and if your nice, then, do u wana be with a guy that doesn't like nice girls? if ur both nice, then he will pick, just, let him decide,
keep trying if you feel like it, and about her, well, talk to her, like i told you, she told you that she was in love with him, she didn't flirt with him first

Well, I'm afraid you are completely breaking the "girlfriend code" if you ask me. You are not supposed to date your friend's ex, no matter how much you like the person. Also, unfortunately, you are going to just have to wait and see. You and your friend can't decide for him. Maybe he just sees you two girls as friends. Don't ever let a guy get in the way of your friendship, it's stupid, pointless, and you may never see the guy again anyway. So, again, just wait and see what happpens.

Ok first of all tell her you like him. if shes a real friend shell back off cuz she doesnt own him and u liked him first. And dont think shes prettier than you!! if you think like that, your lack of confidence shows. I think you should ask him 2 the movies right away before she gets the chance to so you can beat her in this little game

Well if he really is starting to like you and since he and her have already dated or went out together, then he knows what she is like and is possibly ready for somone new- hopefully it's you, I would tell him that your interested in seeing him as a BF before she decides to try and get him back- and if it works in your favor be prepared for your soon to be ex friend to get upset with you cuz it will happen! well if she is not really your good friend you should try making the first move on the guy, and do yourself a favour and try to find a really good friend who you can trust, if this friend of yours is purposfully trying to hurt you, than find some new friends, oh and one more thing, try working on thinking of what your gonna say before you actually say it, hope this helps a bit
