heylo,

everyone;s an idiot when they dont know something, its cool :)

ok here's how to go about it.

Check Version
-------------------
open Internet Explorer
Click Help > About Internet Explorer
and there, it would tell you what version you have,

Send Page/Link by email
-------------------------------
Click File > Send > Page / Link by email
this would trigger outlook express or microsoft outlook to open and send it through it.
but if you dont have an account in Outlook express, etc. then you may have to manually copy and paste the link from the address bar.

adios.

Zephyr is correct with his answer. You click on the 'Help' menu and then on the 'About Internet Explorer'. It will pop up a window with more information than you care to read about...but at the top it will tell you the version of Internet Explorer you are using. To send a link or page by email, it depends on the application you have set up to use for email in your IE Tools/Internet Options menu. Once you have the menu open, click on the programs tab to see which application you are using to email with. Then when you want to send a link or page by email...click on the File menu, and 'Send-->' make your selection there...and send the link or page to your intended recipient like any other email. Good luck!

If you're on the internet, you have tabbed browsing and you're not running AOL, or anything else, it will usually appear. Click on Help, then ABOUT. It should tell you what you're running. You can also try to download it. It should tell you if you have the program or not. It is also in the Title heading (Yahoo Answers - Webpage title goes here - AOL Explorer/Netscape/Internet Explorer 7/etc.)

i could be incorrect, yet i belive the report "a3da123e0dbf2c330db6fe0" is for abode windows xp registration and is not any longer the subject. If information superhighway explorer 7 isn't working wisely (no longer able to launch, and crashing) then you definately ought to purpose to re deploy it. Did you have the comparable difficulty with IE6? if no longer i could recomend applying IE6. so some distance as somebody entering into your computing gadget, make beneficial norton and spybot are as much as this factor, and you have all abode windows updates. additionally it quite is a sturdy thought to place in a loose anti virus checker just to verify. while uncertain... i constantly reformat and start up yet returned with a sparkling virus loose slate. desire this helps

Hey JP,

I have a friend named JP in Atlanta. Cool name.

Anyway, open your IE browser window and goto help and about Internet Explorer. That will be your version.

Now, if you are getting all these pop-up about installing the latest version, it is possibly because yahoo, google, etc want you to download THEIR customized version of it with all their hooks. Don't be fooled by it.

Good luck.

Tom

You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customisable to suit your needs and no problems.

When your screen looks like this:

http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A9htfRwRfapFd.kAYAOjzbkF;_ylu=X3oDMTBsdmIydTZhBHNlYwNwcm9mBHZ0aWQDSTAwMV83MA--/SIG=1288fpkdf/EXP=1168887441/**http%3a//www.flexbeta.net/matt/Internet-Explorer-7.jpg

Or go to your "Control Panel",then open up the "Add and Remove Programs" ,and scroll down until you'll see "Internet 7" programs.

Plus you 'll need XP to have IE7 to operate. Which I'm sure that you have.
And if you use the "Windows Update" that would upload it automatically for you .Plus other uploads that Bill Gates think that you'll need ..*lol*
