How do you plan to protest against Bush? Have you emailed or called your Congressperson? What else have you done?
"People in the United States already were angry about the war before Bush said he would try to bring unrelentingly violent Iraq back from the brink by adding 21,500 more U.S. troops to the 132,000 there now. Polls show the U.S. public overwhelmingly does not like the idea."

"Yet many Republican lawmakers, too, have begun to criticize Bush's war management. Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel (news, bio, voting record) of Nebraska, for example, said last week he feared Bush's plan would be the worst foreign policy blunder since the Vietnam War."

"I'm wondering if this is not some kind of tragically misguided notion of statesmanship on the part of Bush, that there is something noble about ignoring public opinion," said Margaret Susan Thompson, who teaches a Modern Presidency course at Syracuse University's Maxwell School.

I think it's hilarious how many people still listen to this man, and believe in what he says.. is he that good of a speaker or are they just not the brightest of the bunch? Unfortunately there is nothing that we can do.. we can write our congressmans, we can protest, we can do whatever, but it's not going to make a bit of difference... he even says there is nothing that congress can do, he has made his decision and that seems to be all that matters.... what should scare us is the fact that he for some reason has all the power, something that the President is never suppose to have... I agree with the Patriot Act, however I didn't agree the second time around when he put that clause in that states that he DOES NOT need Congress approval, and now he says that Congress can't do anything about his decisions, and it's not only the Democrats that disagree with him... that's what scares me.. is suddenly it seems like he has all the power and Congress has none.. that is not the way it is suppose to be... he is our President, but is not suppose to be a dictator... there are suppose to be checks and balances.. to prevent such a thing

It's not a president's job to make decisions by consensus, his job is to uphold and defend the Constitution for the united States of America.
His problem isn't that he's running the country against the will of the people, his problem is that he pays no attention to the supreme law of the land.
If you're going to be pissed at him, at least be pissed for the right reason.
I'm not pissed because of his imaginary war on terror (how do you fight a tactic?) and that we don't properly identify our enemy (well, ok, I am a little), I'm pissed because of the unconstitutional Patriot Act and the Homeland Security Act, and because this administration is merging us with Mexico and causing devastation and destruction in the doing.
I wish he'd let our boys in the middle east take off the gloves and start bombing mosques. Begin with Mecca. If there's muslims that need killin, for Pete's sake let them kill 'em. Or just kill 'em all and let God sort them out.
Enough soft-ball already, let's get serious or get out, what we're doing is wasting our best blood and treasure.

no...and by the way, to all of the liberals out there...THERE ARE NO "CHILDREN" IN THE MILITARY! They are young men and women who make there own decisions and VOLUNTEERED for military service, as opposed to the "children" of liberals who live at home and breast feed into their early 30s, this being such a dangerous world with all of those mean conservatives who believe in hard work and personal responsibility.

I wouldn't exactly protest. It makes you look like a retard and it will only make people not listen to you. It'll also make them want to do what they want even more. About the President not listening, yes obviously it's ridiculous. His job is to come to common grounds on the word of the people. It's the definition of democracy. He should be fired like the rest of us can. America is currently an authoritarian state and nothing more.

And just who would I protest with???? There aren't enough people who are willing to admit to the truth. There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.
And I have talked with my Senators and Congressman till I was blue in the face...and what good did it do?? Not a damn bit.

you forget - he told us he was "The Decider" which translated to me "screw the will of the people"
This is stance on Iraq as well as 20 million illegal aliens in our country....that's what we get for electing someone from Texas...let me tell you what has happened in Tx since the elections......Rick Perry,(R) Governor campaigned for strict border security - he changed his stance after the election
Kay Bailey Hutchinson, (R) Senator voted for & campaigned for "the fence" - she has changed her mind...after the election.
When the Texas legislators came back last week they needed to elect a speaker...many lobbied for a secret ballot because if they voted against Craddick(R) (present speaker) they were afraid of retribution as demonstrated by past practise...secret ballot failed so guess who we got?? Craddick ..he has a reputation of also ignoring the will of the people.......everything truly is bigger in Texas including graff in politics!
yoink78 - protesting appears to be working for the illegal aliens...so no matter how I am looked at I will continue to protest!

It is going to take a civil war to change anything here now. Our people have become so lax that they are almost numb by the distractions placed upon us. It is up to US , we the people to make sure our Govt is doing its job properly. It hasn't in many years...
Its going to take a civil war. Bush is an evil man controlled by the one worlders.... shocker. They have all been that way for many years. Clinton, oh gosh... evil man. Great at speach and very popular...but evil.
