i use limewire and love it! huge selection, easy to use and its free. stay way from the modem downloads, though. they are too slow...the t1, t2, t3 and cable downloads are really fast.

allofmp3.com is definitely the most affordable site for downloading music. You pay based on file size rather than per song. The songs you download also do not have any copy restrictions like most other download stores enforce.

well if you're looking to pay, i would say itunes.. but on the other hand, i myself use limewire.. i mean what can i say.. why pay when you can get it all for free and legally ;)
