I just have a slight problem with importing audio clips to be added to music videos that I have made. Mostly every song that I have attempted to import won't work! The following message always pops up:

The file C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Music\Sample Music\Miley_Cyrus-9-Best_Of_Both_Worlds_-_Hannah_Montana.wma is protected using digital rights management and cannot be imported.

Are there any websites that I can find downloadable songs, (proferably free) that I can use with Windows Movie Maker?

Please Comment!

You are probably trying to use a file type that isn't supported by WMM. I always use wav or mp3 files.....you can find plenty of sites where you can download them FREE. Just type ' free wavs " or ' free mp3 ' into your browser and search away! No "limeware" or anything else is needed - just use a supported file type.
If I can help more, just let me know.

"Try using Limewire ...its all free and no copyrights..."

yea but if your in the US you cant use that...its agaisnt the law although im sure 80% of people still use it for music and programs.

---------------

Have a look at the WMM message form

personally I think WMM is a nice program but I can't stand how it stops working like it did for me today...my video needs 4 hours of editing and I only have 3 hours to do that..

im using Adobe Premiere now and I suggest you try another program as well

anyways that message form will help, I've seen some posts commenting on why some audio files wont work. You could also try changing their format I guess

I record all my audio in the house here...makes it easy IMO
