sometimes (even when im not using it) my wireless network just gets disconnected for a few seconds, the pc jams for about 4 secs and the sound goes off. The sound will only come back when i restart the pc.

i did system restore from a time when my pc didnt have this problem but it is still doing it.

is it a hardware or software problems ??

how can i fix this? i dont care so much for pc technicians id much rather try doing it myself

thanks a lot
any useful suggestions are much appreciated

first off, its not your motherboard

check your wireless card...some have given me trouble though the years like this too and you have to replace it

wireless is a crazy setup, if your too far away will work at times but may cut out like it does on my PDA

Look for service pack 2, and latest update. After that look for antivirus (who is update) and scan your system. Last use AdAware. (who is update)

That's a hardware problem. Probably the mother board.

its probably somthing to do with the wireless cards driver ... but it could be ur soundcards driver also ... i would check for updates to both ..
