Was raised a democrat and remained such till the Clinton's. The corruption, lying AND sexual disrespect shown toward women was repulsive.
While still a registered democrat, I voted for GW. He to, has proven to be a liar and corrupt.
I'm no longer affiliated with any political group nor do I trust political parties/groups nor will I vote along party lines. Instead, I will scrutinize the INDIVIDUAL.
Don't know if republicans have an organization like democrats do, such as the democratic progressive caucus, which is a socialist organization with a socialist agenda and Nancy Pelosi is a member. Not all democrats are members of this organization, however it consists mainly of democrats with the exception of one or more independents (see links below). They use the term "progressive" instead of "socialist" so as not to alarm Americans, enabling them to quietly (mis)lead us 'progressively' to a (socialist/communist) America uninterrupted and with blessings of the American people.
So if I should consider voting for a democrat I would do my homework and make sure the individual isn't a member of that socialist group and make sure they do NOT preach that certain groups are racist and others are not. I would make sure the individual still believes in the US and wants to protect her from invasion, drugs, gangs, rape and murder. And also restore her right to religion even if that religion is christianity, restore her melting pot and her sovereignty.
If I should consider voting for a republican I would likewise do my homework. Some of them want the same nightmare for America that the socialist/communist democrats want. If anyone running for office praises Bush's agenda of a NAU (north american union) NWO (new world order) or praise the democratic progressive agenda, they will NOT get my vote.
From the looks of things so far and the choices that are offered us in politicians, there's a good chance I may never vote again.

Since the Democrats more accurately reflect the values of the middle class, most people SHOULD trust Democrats more since theoretically, the middle class is the largest. However, the Republicans are doing their best to do away with the middle class with their concentrating on helping the wealthy to the exclusion of all others.

The Republicans. They may not always be correct but they are far more honest and trustworthy than any democrats. The democrats want to decide what is right in my life and believe the bigger the government the better.

Trust, like respect,is earned, and to assume that ALL members of any particular political party can be lumped into one, would be quite a disappointment to fairness

Neither. Both parties are nothing more that puppets controlled by their corporate financiers. The only difference in the name of the corporation...

You might as well of asked, "What feels better... getting shot in the face from a distance, or getting shot in the face at point blank range?"
