well some people can use items such as tweezers, ipods, dictionaries and many more stuffs as a weapon, just last week, they confiscated my friends manicure set as they think it could be used a a weapon... but I've flown a few times with my ipod, so it just might be the country you're in or the country you're flying to that has the security level set out!!! it sucks hay!!!

I know this is a joke, but I just want to say that if I have to stand around an airport all day long, I'll gladly do it if it means the plane I'm boarding won't get blown up or crashed into a building.
