How do I start my own fahion wardobe?

Purchase certain pieces of clothing that you can mix and match to make different outfits. Like 2 skirts, 3 pair of pants, 4 shirts, a cardigan, one dress. Then you can mix and match everything. One day you can wear the dress with the cardigan. Another you can wear the dress with a pair of jeans. You can mix and match the tops and bottoms for so many outfits. Get all pieces in coordinating colors until you build up your wardrobe. A simple pair of black pumps will go with every outfit. Oh, and don't forget to accessorize. I would start with things that are more expensive and basic, like pants and coats. Buy a few pairs of pants: some jeans, some more formal black pants, and some skirts. It may seem unusual at first but that's how you start your own fashion. Then as you start combining diff. articles of clothing, when you can't find the types you like and you get ideas for other styles you can't find anywhere, you can start designing your own things.

i would say start with the every day use. like jeans, shirts, jackets, etc... then go to church cloth like, skirts, and dresses if you like to wear them. shoes are next the accessories!! have fun!!
