I read a lot about americans complaining about illegalls in their country. I can and do understand. Now my question is when are your people going to get out of Iraq as you are there illegally. No one asked your goverment to invade and put a country into civil war.

In desert storm america had all the opertunity to do away with Sadam and you had the ivite from the world todo it as he was your man anyway. Has anyone bothered to ask why it was not done then and there.

Heather although there were elections everyone with half a brain knows that the outcome was pre-determend. Of course he wants you to stay to fix the mess and Iraq had a dectator that america put into power.

TexasRose where i stay we have illegalls coming across our borders from 5 different countries on a daily basis so yes i do understand more than u will ever know.

Truckman i am not american. maybe u should stand outside ur little world and take another look. I have tried looking for any good point from the american goverment side. Its all about oil. your goverment dont give a damn for the poeple. wake up and taste the coffee is ice cold

This is not going to be a popular answer.
Our present government believes that the United States is better than, and therefore doesn't need to cooperate with, the world community. We shun diplomacy and cooperation with countries like Iraq, because quite frankly, we can bomb the heck out of them instead. It's sad, and rest assured, not all Americans agree with our current government's ego. Nonetheless, most Americans do whine a lot, and like our government (I'm not going to sugar-coat it) we're a selfish bunch. Our country is walking double standard, and you've just pointed one instance of such.

WOW! that is like comparing broccoli to apples.... one has absolutely NOTHING to do with the other.... we complain about illegal immigrants coming to our country because they are here illegally, and we have laws in place that determine our immigration laws that they are clearly violating.... we are not trying to live and work in Iraq, hiding from their government and their laws to stay there... we are there for a war although I don't agree with this war myself, we did not put the country into a civil war, they were already in one... right now however they have more freedom to publicly speak out and act out that they didn't have before... - illegal immigrants and us in Iraq are not comparable.... good try though

We the American citizens are not responsible for what our government does. Except those who vote for them and put them in office. I am not one of them. I try to vote for people who will make a difference. But not enough agree with me. So....what you see is what you get.
As far as illegals. Do you REALLY understand?? Do you know what it's like to go into an Amercian store and hear Spansih being blasted all over the place?? It's very un-nerving!!

Bush is just crazy and war hungry, looking to go down in history for some wrong reason. Iraq should have been handled in another manner set forth by the UN and agreed to by the international community.

Being Americans, we have the right to *****.....Iraq was alread in chaos and has been for longer than you or I have lived. Since there was no law in Iraq when we went there...whats illegal.
We will leave when the job is done and we are assured that the Iraqi Government and people can maintain it. We as the worlds only Superpower, it is our place to aid and assist in placing legal governments....Just the right thing to do.
