Can a person living in California apply for a Texas number (with a texas area code) under the network carrier Cingular?

Yes-you should be able too-we live in Texas and we have a Hawaii phone number-but it is only cell phone number,we also have it through cingular so there shouldn't be any problem doing it!Good luck,hope you get what you want!!!

Not that I know of. But if you lived in Texas you could get a Texas number and then keep it when you moved.
