Due to lack of WW solution in Colorado (3 Blizzards in a row), is windex a suitable alt.?
hence the quest is...will ammonia in a Windex
mix freeze???

Windex has a lot of alcohol in it, it shouldn't freeze in normal winter temps. Although its freezing point may be higher than the methanol based fluid.

The best thing I have found is to fill the wind shield washer with Alcohol. Not medical alcohol . There was antifreeze during ww2 made of Alcohol . very good.
