I like the name you chose. We named our one and only daughter: Erin Elizabeth

Everyone has a different opinion of names. My mom used very unique (and hard to spell!) names for her three girls. We each have 4 middle names to choose from...

But realistically, you should think of one that holds meaning to you. Is there a special relative who you would like to honor by naming your daughter after? A grandma or your mom's middle name? Maybe even after yourself, or a variation of your name.

I think the one you chose is beautiful. Lola is very pretty ans feminine for a girl. If others do not like it, so what? You are the mom who will have little Lola Penelope in your life forever...so go with that!

When I was pregnant, I would brag about the name chosen for our baby girl-to-be. What I get were stories of "I knew an Isabel once...*fill in horror story here*..." Or even, I would spell it like this______". What we did was keep it to ourselves so others opinions would not sway us from a name we really liked.

We named our daughter Isabel Renee. Isabel is the 'Old Spanish' word for Elisabeth, meaning "devoted to God". Renee means "to be born again", so both fit for us as we are Christians.

Hope this helped! Good luck and congratulations!

I have 3 boys and our first daughter is due in March. We are naming her Brooklynn Rose. We went through many names, but my husband was difficult about them...:) I love Olivia Grace and Ava Rose or Ava Grace, and we thought of Allyson, Phoebe, Brooke, and lots of others. Lola Penelope is cute.

If I had a daughter I would name her autumn ruthann reason for it... the name I have just loved since I was little and the middle name becaue its my moms name.. i think if you have a daughter you should keep it sentimental, a mother and daughter realtionship is a bond that lasts forever ( luckily i had that) but, if your not the sentimental type go to http://www.babyzone.com/features/users/registerbabynames.asp that should help ya find all the popular names for today!
