SWF and EXE formats cannot be played in any type of DVD player as of yet. EXE is computer applications, and SWF is flash movies. EXE, i do not see happening anytime soon and on top of that, there is no movie file format that uses the extension EXE. You can find SWF converters that will convert to a different format, try AVI or MPG, and then if you have an old trashy DVD player that cannot play AVI or MPG, use Nero Vision and burn it as a DVD and lay it that way.

EXE is executable, so it cannot be played
Sometimes Exe files are self unpacking archives they can contain movies, mp3, etc. but furst must be unpacked by runnung the .exe (this is also a good way to get viruses, especially if the source of the file is not clear)
SWF is a shockwave flash, it contains flash movies. It can be played by a flash player.
In short, none can be played in an MP3 or DVD player

Neither I think, swf is a flash animation, (need a pc with a flash plugin installed to view these). And exe is an execute file like the file you download that installs something.
