I just received a positive pregnancy test yesterday and it is my first pregnancy. I am very excited! I do have some cramping on my left side that comes and goes. I have not had any spotting or bleeding and my only other symptom is fatigue, sore breasts and a stuffy nose. I have an appointment at my doctor tomorrow for my first prenatal.....but I was wondering if anyone would know what the symptoms of a tubal pregnancy are?....just to set my mind at ease untill tomorrow? Thank you in advance!

It seems like from what you have told us hear you are having a perfect pregnancy and nothing to worry about. Good work setting up prenatal appointment so soon. I don't think your stuffy nose is related to your pregnancy. Congrats!

tubal pregnancy
Symptoms of Ectopic Pregnancy
symptoms of early pregnancy
spotting after first missed period
cramping after first missed period
pain or pelvic pressure
ultimately, severe uterine bleeding or hemorrhage

A great pregnancy book is "what to expect when expecting"
After that there is "what to expect in the first year" and
"What to expect in the toddler years"
Great series!

They say that severe abdominal pain along with some bleeing are signs of an ectopic pregnacy. However, I had a tubular pregnancy last summer, and I had no bleeding at all, just EXTREMELY severe abdominal pain, so bad that I could not stand up. I had to call 911 to have them carry me out on a stretcher to the hospital.

Cramping on one side that comes and goes is normal during early pregnancy. It is when the cramping is severe that is a sign that something is wrong. Relax - if something was truly wrong, you'd know it for sure.

Some signs are:

extreme pain on one side
fainting/dizziness
excessive vomitting

I had small cramps when I was first pregnant, and still have them. If they are very faint, I wouldn't worry.
