I know it's frustrating not to get to do what you want to do, but be glad that your mom cares enough about you to be involved in your life and do what she thinks is best for you. If you had a mother like mine, you'd be telling your mother how grateful you are for her every single day!

Your mom has some reason for not letting you go out. Maybe she thinks its too cold for you to drive or there could be bad weather coming. You never know. Just ask her what her reasons are. If she says "because I say so" then thats that. She's your mom, she loves you and she's NOT being mean. She's being a good, protective mother. Take this advice: your mom would never do anything to harm you. Just listen to her and appreciate the fact that you have a mom that loves you so much!

It is probably more an issue of money and necessity rather than weather. If you want to be a true rebel, learn to survive on what you really need.
As far as fashion is concerned, try the "vintage" look -- older men like a more old-fashioned woman anyways rather than all that modern crap.
