When i plug it into computer it doesn't do anything.
nothing shows up on the computer and the dang ipod won't charge
this make me mad!

Well, this might be because either
1. You don't have the iPod software on your computer
2. Your iPod is totally dead
3. You might have the USB or FireWire cable inserted wrong. Pull it out after ejecting it safely, then check for any foreign obects in the ports and cables.
4. You might have your iPod connected to a low-power or USB 1.1 port. You need to get a card for that if you don't have USB 2.0 or FireWire 400 port.
