All these people are up in arms about how abortion should be illegal. WHY? Where are these millions of people when children are in foster homes without the care of a family? Where are you PEOPLE? Why do you not adopt these kids? Where are you PRO-LIFERS when the masses are abused and left to die every night? Where are you? Why should a woman not have the right to control what sprouts inside of her? The pain and suffering of carring a child should not be FORCED! Why are yu PRO-LIFERS not begging to take in the ragged and worn children, black, white, spanish, and asian, that are otherwise born with no other future than to take up just a little bit more air. Not to say no one deserves a chance. But where are the PRO-Lifers to give it to them? Shut the hell up about adoption because it is almost impossible to get rid of older children. They merely get taken into group and foster homes for the government check! But instead u blow up clinics and condemn women. That is all you ppl are good 4.

And I said... I don't think it is BIRTH CONTROL! I don't think that my tone is unnessicary. It seems my harsh demeanor is what go to me so much attention. And maybe all you people who spent so much time invetigating me, could take that time to help prevent abortion and not go AGAINST or FOR it, then this world would be great, ya know?

Because what sprouts inside of her is a precious life. Who are you to say it is okay to murder innocent babies?

If you do not want the pain and suffering of being pregnant, then don't be having sex.

The pro-lifers can ask you, where are you when it comes to helping these children? Whether you be for abortion or against abortion we have unwanted children or unloved children in this world.

Are you trying to say that only the fortunate should be born? Are you trying to say that poor people should not have children? Are you trying to say that abortion is a good means of birth control?

Are you an older child who has been placed in a foster home and all the people want is the government check? If you are, I can better understand what you are saying, but I believe every person has a right to life. Whether old or in the womb or disabled, they have a right to life. When we quit loving life and cherishing life and upholding life, then our society will die, decay and rot.

I don't like the idea of abortion, but I wouldn;t protest because someone else wanted one. If they want it, let them have it. I though do feel that if they don't want kids, some precautions should be taken so as not to warrant an abortion. There are PLENTY on the market and if you can't afford them, there is always a free clinic. If you can't afford birth control how are you going to afford the abortion....Right, go to the free clinic....duhhhh
Shoulda gone in the first place.
Secondly, the legal system makes it awfully hard to adopt a child. Unless you are well off, married, (most of the time), and not over a certain age, it is damn near impossible. I can understand the screening process to an extent, but NO home is ideal even if you are a millionaire. What matters is LOVE. These kids don't want money, they want to feel like part of YOUR family and LOVED.
I wanted more kids myself(have 1, lost another) but couldn't. My health is not great, but I ain't dying either. They won't let me adopt because I have COPD.? WHY? Had I adopted when I wanted to the child would be at least 12 now even if I got a newborn. Soooo, here I sit, lonely, wanting a child to love and call my own and the SYSTEM won't allow it. I would be acceptible to an older child too.
That's why so many American's are going over seas to adopt other races. Their standards aren't quite as strict as here in the U.S. (I can't afford over seas travel and not physicaly up to it if I could). So where does this leave us WILLING, but unable?

So, if an innocent human being is "unwanted," your solution is to kill them? Should we kill homeless people or elderly people who are "unwanted," too? If someone considered you inconvenient or unwanted, would it be okay to kill you as well? What about born children who may be abused? Should we just go ahead and preemptively execute them to prevent potential future suffering? If not, why are children in the womb fair game?

You must not know many pro-life people, because many of the ones I know ARE adopting children. In my tiny hometown, one family adopted a sibling group of four children and then adopted their sibling when the mother got pregnant again. Two other families have adopted multiple children from Africa. Another pro-life family I know adopted a five-year-old from Russia, and another an eight-year-old here in America. There are also families waiting to adopt children with Down syndrome, HIV, and other physical problems (see http://www.chask.org ).

Who do you think provides free help for pregnant women and women with young children all across America in crisis pregnancy centers? Pro-lifers, of course. Try going to Planned Parenthood and asking for free maternity and baby supplies and free financial help, and then try going to a crisis pregnancy center, and you'll see who really wants to help women. Who do you think runs the majority of homeless shelters and soup kitchens in this country? Again, Christians. Who has been statistically shown to give a greater portion of their income to charity than liberals? Why, it's Christians again!

What "sprouts inside a woman" is a baby. At just three weeks after conception, that baby's heart is already beating. There is no justification for murder. Abortion is the ultimate child abuse:

How do you think unborn babies feel when their arms and legs are ripped from their bodies? And, yes, they do feel pain:

Most people with your level of hostility towards pro-lifers have been involved in an aborition at some point. I hope that is not the case, but regardless, you should have a little more compassion for the most defenseless and innocent human beings among us.

Your tone could use some work but you are right. I have worked in social services and there are literally millions of children in the US that no-one wants. The linger in foster care or worse group homes. They gets passed from home to home and they are often abused in the foster homes. They have no real attachment to anyone or anything and by the teen years most end up incacerated or pregnant themselves at which point that repeat the cycle. I dont care how or why their parents ended up pregnant but the fact is dropping these kids in the system doesnt do them any good and in the end perpetuates the cycle. The vast majority of these children are of minority decent and the white community mostly ignores them and seeks adoptions of white children or out of country adoptions. A life of abuse & neglect is no gift.

Your argument would be taken more seriously if it didn't come off as a rant, and without the "shut the hell up" juvenile approach to disagreement with others.

I'm pro-choice and always have been, but it's those that express themselves as poorly as you that cause the rest of us to have to work harder to express how we feel and have to deal with the fanatics on the other side, who also don't do a good job representing the pro-lifers. This is why abortion dicussions often turn so ugly.

If you are still in school, I'd suggest you join your school's debate team. You'll learn valuable debate and discussion skills that may serve you well later in life.

There may be older children without homes, and that's a sad situation. However, nothing is ever an excuse to kill an innocent, unborn child. Even our constitution says that EVERYONE should have the right to LIFE. God's word says that he knew us before we were conceived, that he knew the number of the hairs on our heads when we were conceived in our mother's womb. Just because you don't want to put yourself out for nine months doesn't give you the right to play God. Women need to stop making the innocent pay for their reckless, irresponsible, sexual behavior.

You are truly an ignorant, selfish woman.

Wow! i think you are very right but you can't speak for everyone. I do think abortion is wrong but there are sometimes that it is necessary. I also agree with you in saying that there are a lot of unwanted kids in the world. Nobody wants older kids to adopt. They all want babies. But how do you know that all of the "Pro-Life" people aren't adopting kids too. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't. But you can't put all of them down. As a group, I would say they aren't doing the right thing all of the time, but think about them individually. Maybe they are helping the world and the kids. There are a lot of questions about it.

First of all there are way more people out there who want kids but will never get them because adoption cost way to much. So if you didnt want your kids you could at least give them a chance so that maybe somebody does.
And farthermore if you didnt want the kids you should never have spread your damn legs. Its not like your dumb enough to think " oh as long as he pulls out I wont get pregnant". If your grown enough to lay down with someone then you better damn well be grown enough to handle the consiquences. How could you even be so stupid as to say no one wants the older kids. Cause I'll be the first to tell you that your so wrong. There are pleanty of people out there who want them. They just dont have the MONEY it takes to ADOPT them. I hope God forgives you because abortion is a sin. ITS MURDER!!!

I want to adopt them and I don't like abortion. There are people like me out there. I've never blown anything up. I don't plan to bring my own child into this world when so many already need homes. I love all people. I travel and do missionary work. My friends feel like me too. I've done lots and lots of volunteer work for people in these situations. I'm a Christian, but I never condemn those who choose abortion. I try to show others love, like God would. I have friends who were adopted and/or whose parents almost had abortions. I'm glad they never did though. I also know women who later regretted their abortions. I've heard their words of regret and cries of guilt. I can't imagine not having my nephew. People can abstain or use contraceptives.*****You shouldn't label people and it isn't a good idea to speak in that tone. You can be angry, but people may shut you out if you don't choose your words carefully and speak in a respectful way. You said you hate young girls who curse in your profile.

I agree to a point that all the people who oppose it aren't exactly model parents themselves. They shouldn't judge others until they check their own dirty laundry. That said, I don't think abortion should be used as birth control and it is very sad every time someone has to get one. Women should check alternatives to abortion before they get one because it can haunt them the rest of their lives. I don't look down on anyone who does it but it shouldn't be birth control.
