Yes, that was the assumption. I have to admit that most men I've been around don't have a problem with putting the seat down. I really can't complaint about that. I just ask that they keep it clean.
Let's just say that both genders need to be considerate of the other when sharing a bathroom. Bathroom complaints can go both ways.
