He's an arrogant man , with a superiority complex so likes to feel he controls everything and no one else has a say.The threat to the nation is more staying in Iraq. I was watching a documentary and the people their do not see Americans as rescuing them , but trying to take them over for their oil .That is when more hatred arises and you get more terrorism .

Bush turned his back on the Iraq Study Group and retired the Service Commanders who gave the best ultimate resolutions.
Perhaps, Bush is not satisfied being recorded in history as America's worst President, but be recorded as the Best Advocat for Satan... when he faces his Judhement Day and be declared as a Competitor among Earth's Most Evil Villians that instituted the deaths of so many innocent victims! Maybe, Bush is just too eager to join the likes of Stalin, Mao. Hitler, Saddam, etc. etc. in Hell! He seems to enjoy having the worst sort around him!

i think this is more of a statement that a question. regardless, many times congress and the american people have found themselves on the wrong side of history; ala the american revolution, the civil war, WWI and WWII. but determined LEADERS (washington, lincoln, FDR) saw the honor in the cause and continued against pulic opinion and outrage from congress. i don't understand everyone's fascination with what congress and the american people want. i mean, talk to 1000 people and tell many how many of how many of those people you would actually take advice from....

well we all know that we cant give it back now the bad guys have more guns that the good guys so if we left a war lord would take over. this is not a good thing to put in the hands of a bad guy. he would have enough oil to make the money to make mass weapons of destruction . then we would be fighting a different war. and i must add if u where their and your friends were dieing would u want some help??

He got the Baker-Hamilton report, a bipartisan study that was months in the making. He ignored it completely. Now he's trying to pass the blame. There's no hope for him. He started his war, with a series of made up lies and phoney fabrications, killing thousands, maybe he should send his daughters there to finish it.

He is trying to save face for a war he messed up so badly. Our troops are paying with their lives for his incompetency. While they make money with Dubai we pay the price. If this war is important to the middle east, why aren't the Arabs fighting too?

look, no war is popular, but to continue to half-*** our way through this thing would be a HUGE mistake. i wish it was over as much as anyone, but its not going to fix itself. the best way to accomplish the goal of Iraq being self sufficient is to squash the enemy, once and for all, and if that requires more troops then i say lets send them and wrap this mess up sooner rather than later.

I'm not in favor of the troops being sent, and I'm a conservative (independent conservative, soon to be). Although I think George Bush is a terrible failure, I still understand that making matters worse with Democrats isn't going to solve anything except exactly that - make matters worse.
