How many guppies can I put in my 5 gallon tank? Do I need a bubbler? I have the rocks, the stuff that gets rid of chlorine, plants, filter, heater, and temp gauge. Please help!

If you are only getting males or only getting females, then you could probably put 3-4 in a five gallon tank. However, if you are getting a mix, I would only put one male and one female and then plant it heavily so that there's a place for the babies to hide. If you fill the tank to capacity and then they have babies, you'll be overcrowded before you know it!
Also, make sure that you properly cycle the tank before adding any fish into it. If you have live plants, you probably won't need a bubbler as they will produce oxygen. Otherwise, a bubble would probably be a good idea to ensure that there's always enough oxygen in the tank!

the rule of thumb that i was taught when i worked at petco last year was have a gallon of water for every INCH of fish you want in there (keep in mind what size they will grow to when they adults. so for 5 gallon tank probably about 4 or 5 guppies will do. a bubbler will airate the water in the tank better so i would definetely get one!

There is supposed to be five fish per gallon. My 5 gallon fish tank has over 20 fish in it and they are all doing fine. All I have is a filter and pump, de-clorinating solution, and scenery(for happy fish), and flake food. They will do fine with all of that. By the way, they multiply fast!!

I heard it's one inch per gallon but I have way more than that in my tank

Id only get like 3 they get to like 2 inches
