Some people just wait for thier turn to talk, but to show someone that you are really listening you can do what is called active listening where you rephrase what the person just said.

A Good Conversation is only possible if there is a proper equation between listening and speaking upon the topic.
I believe, until and unless you have the patience of listening to what the next person wants to express, you cant ever speak properly upto the full expectations .
Its better to listen first and then to think upon what to say and how to say i.e., sorting out the points to speak according to its importance and last but not the least to express them properly..
Dont Interupt while others speak
Happy Weekends !!

I have a bad habit of interrupting which is rude , I try to catch myself when I do this because I don't mean to do this really . If I try I am a very good listener but unless I feel I've been invited too I won't offer an opinion .

That's usually how a conversation works. You listen then talk.

I like to wait for a break in the conversation so I don't interrupt. A lot of my peers interrupt in EVERY conversation and it's very annoying.

If it's an argument with a woman...I just listen. It's pointless to talk.
