My husband isn't often like that... but occasionally I am. I usually just want to be left alone for a bit and so does he. Be present without hovering.. go about your business around the house. Make meals and let him know they are there...do things you would normally do just be supportive... when he's not angry at the world ask him about it.

How old are you guys? Is it possible he's at the beginning of a midlife crisis or maybe has symptoms of depression?

Unless you can move planet we are all stuck here on earth. So figure out what exactly is he mad at, and try to get to the root of the problem, ask him if he is open to counselling, since you do not want to be with a partner who is bad tempered all the time. By the way, if he is so mad at the world, what is he actively doing to make it a better place?

my husband is all the time, spends lots of time on the net reading news storys from around the world.
and then with no one else to rag to he rags to me about how the world is so messed etc.
this went on for years and then i finally said to shut up, that i did not needor want to hear about the world anymore and if he still felt the need to vent then right dear abby. he was realy mad at first but i got some piece and quite.

Give him space when he needs it and ensure him that he can always talk to you about anything should he chose.

Sometimes people just need someone to sit in silence too...offer that. My husband sometimes does that. If he has had a bad day or whatever, he will just cuddle with me on the couch. We don't say anything, just snuggle. We both understand eachother that way and it makes us both feel good in the long run.

Have wild sex with him in the middle of the day. Get him off his feet and on his back and have you way with him for the afternoon. Soon he will open up and let you in on what's troubling him. If it doesn't work, give him some space and reassure him that he is loved and respected in his little corner of the world...your home.

Depending on houw mad he is:
Option 1 - stay out of his way. If he's the yelling type then you don't need to suffer, too. It should snuff out eventually.

Option 2 - Try talking it out with him. Even if it's little by little. Ask whats wrong, What can I do to help, ect. Even asking him how he's doing should help.

I put on my shorts and let my hair down and spray Watermellon Body Spray on me and then drop the keys on the carpet in front of him watching T.V. and bend over slowly and pick them up and then pretend that I am hurt like I twisted my ankle and fall on my back and open my legs.

He usually jumps from the couch like a huge Bear and I'm helpless in his arms as he literally loves me right there on the carpet.

Just be there for him!! Let him know what he has to be thankful for and that you do have each other. Everone goes thruogh ruts, tell him that you are sure everthing will work it's self out and if it is any thing you can help with help him out.
