The cultural heritage what we have is the best. Surely we have still some part of it left with us. But off late, I am hearing that there is a form of depletion following western style. It is ridiculous that movies shows that the so called heros exchange their spouses.
I heard even about 12 years ago a bombayite saying that swapping of spouces is the trend in Bombay as it is safer than to go to prostitute. With this level of losing religious values, I doubt whether we would still have any royalty in the next decade. If we want globalisation, then we cannot have the cake and eat it too.

In today's democratic India, there are no kings, although the remnants of the royalty existing till India's independence in 1947 lingers on.

It depends on a persons religious, and social status in India.Unlike
America,India is a place well known for centuries of the people to have loyalty, because of customs, and traditions that keeps people
together. But what ever information you found out different about India,of India not having any loyalty is totally not true.If anything Indians behave better than Americans, but that isn't to say that India is better than America, because it's not.
