Is there a patch for the desperate housewives game so it can be run on a laptop?

The game should be able to play on a laptop anyway... mine works fine on both desktop and laptop.
If it doesn't work on laptop than the laptop may not have good enough specifications to run the game.
I've been looking at some reviews and many other users do agree the game seems to conatin many bugs... this may be the problem however laptops are not suitable for a game of this nature.
I've been looking at some sites I use and there are no patches or fixes for the problems of th game so far.
