Is Jean Grey still alive or is dead and never comes back or only the X-men knows she is still alive but in her records she is dead.

Jean Grey is one of those Marvel characters that is brought out of the grave whenever they need a boost in comics profit. With over 6 or 7 or 1 million X-comics titles published every month, Marvel needs to drag Jean Grey out of the grave every once in a while.
But currently, "She's dead, Jim."

Jean Grey is currently dead but once Marvel runs out of new ideas she will be back. For some reason the phoenix story line keeps selling books. Its a mystery to me.
