I would like to get a stylish, warm peacoat. I wear junior womens' usually. I like fit, preferably un-patterened, but I can do patterns too. I like Delias peacoats, but I don't know if I should go with those.
Waist length to mid-thigh length.
I've looked at Delias', Nordstrom's, Macy's, Old Navy's and Urban Behavior's. Can anybody who owns any of those tell me how they fit, if they like them, etc...?
Can any one tell me about other brands?

I like the Delias peacoats. I also like Vicoria's Secret. I would go with a mid length coat.

I love Delia*s peacoats (as well as most things from there), but I've noticed that alot of the quality of their clothing is quite shoddy.
Some shirts I got from there got holes after the second wear, the hems came undone, and a peacoat is something that you want to last.
The peacoats that I love come from JCrew- they're simple and very comfortable, and the quality is fantastic. They can be a bit pricey (in the $400s), but they last, they should be on sale around now. My friend has two coats from there, and while she might have had them tailored, they fit her perfectly and look perfect (I love them). Two other brands that I like are Gap (I have a corduroy peacoat from there, and its lasted for the three years that I've had it. However, if you have a small frame, the jackets from Gap might be a bit big on you (they are on me). Victoria's Secret also has nice peacoats in the catalog for clothing, and they're rather inexpensive ($75 or so). I assume since they're a name brand the material and work will be nice, and I'm positive the fit will be great.
I think that Nordstroms BP has nice coats, although the only really warm ones are the puffers, which I abhor. The jackets there seem more like fall/spring peacoats.
I think that you should further shop around online- to get a good idea of what there is and the cost, and then actually try them on in stores.
hope this helps, and good luck

I have never heard of the Delias coat you mention. But I have the eddie bauer wool peacoat. it fits mid thigh and is super warm. I have one in black, but almost bought the red one for a bit of flash.
Lands End also sells a great Peacoat. I have one of their mid calf wool coats and it is super warm. Cold rating down to 15 degrees Farenheit. They also make an insulated version that's even warmer.
Both the eddie bauer coat and the lands end coat are made far better than the jcrew and gap brands. They are much higher quality and I have had one from Eddie Bauer for over 10 years.
I also read in InStyle or Marie Claire that if you want just your standard black or grey peacoat try an army navy supply store. They make the traditional wool coats that the navy wears that are usually under $50 and totally warm.

properly, you may evaluate what you will detect at a defense force military save and evaluate that with something comparable at a save. Macy's or Bloomingdales or some vogue save. The P Coat is modeled after the coats that have been US military issued or different Naval amenities in different international places and the provider provider marine. females used to positioned on their boyfriends and husbands coats for the period of international conflict 2 and that's the way it took off for females's fashions. you may not want to positioned on a guy's coat even with the undeniable fact that it would be greater low value and greater useful high quality wool and particular greater useful made. you may even have the capacity to purchase a guy's P coat at a surplus save and take it to a tailor and function it altered for much less value than what a woman's save might value for some dressmaker's label and much less costly polyester blend.
