Well, in some repsects I think that zippers combined with certain types of fabric have become an alternative form of corset.

Are you kidding? The zipper has changed my life so much!!!! Instead of using buttons I get to use a zipper yay!!!

The Zipper has changed my life greatly, in that it allows me to pee without unbuttoning my pants. I don't know what I'd do without the zipper. Well, I guess I'd unbutton my pants.
