Yep, you pretty much got it right. Gravers, thankfully, have pretty much gone extinct, since they were basically ravers who crashed goth clubs . . . they were rarely welcome. Rivetheads look a lot like hardcore punks (many have mohawks) but they wear clothes that makes them look like they've just been resurrected. They're more likely to listen to gothic industrial music like VNV Nation, Skinny Puppy, or Razed In Black. Cyber goths also listen to industrial, and are the only goths that wear neon colors on a regular basis. They often sport dreadfalls and wear quasi futuristic clothing. Its actually pretty rare that you can fit a goth squarely into these roles, since they're all individuals with their own tastes and styles. For a funny version of the goth types, check out http://www.odk.com/wilson/goth/150.html
The gothic mindset for these groups is individual, but there are some overarching themes. Being goth really has nothing to do with what clothes you wear or music you listen to, it is a way of thinking and seeing the world. The clothes that goths wear and the music that goths listen to is just a reflection of that mindset. Goths see that there is extreme pain and evil in the world, along with the good. Instead of condemning it or ignoring it, goths accept these things as a part of life and try and enjoy the good along with the bad, since they can't stop the bad from happening. They are not obsessed with death, they just accept it as an inevitability. They do not try and cause more pain in their (or anybody else's) lives, since there is plenty to start with. Goths tend to be kind, intelligent, non-violent, emotional, and artistic.

Actually, only "Rivetheads" would properly be considered industrial fans.
Gravers are, exactly as they sound "gothic ravers". I'm not sure how that cross-over happened, but I've met a few. They like gothic music. They also like electronic.
Cyber Goths are futuristic in look. I think they listen to "darkwave" more than gothic music.
The only real way to tell any of them apart is by looks, because there's so much cross-over. So, really when you're saying someone's a cyber goth, for example, unless you know them, all you can really say is "They are wearing a cyber goth outfit".
I think Gravers just look like ravers wearing black.
Rivetheads like to shave their heads and stomp a lot. They also might have dreads and extreme piercings.
Cyber goths wear a lot of latex and PVC, but probably wear the least black out of all of the "gothic" groups. I see a lot of Cyber goths wearing neon. They somehow still manage to look quite gothic.

Well, first off, not all emos cut themselves, i know plenty that dont... and the difference between emo and goth is that: goth people dress in ALL black, they arent interested in alot and theyre very secluded and quiet, emos are kindof 25% goth and 75% skater, emos dress in dark colors and deep red and hot pink, most emo people ive seen are sooooo outgoing funny and goofy (omg, i could name soo many) and most emos like hard rock and metal music, skating, and dying their hair (well, its true, how many emos do u know that remember what their natural hair color is?) while goth dont like alot of music and like i said arent interested in much long answer, yes i know, but im sooo bored :-( bye bye ♥-Rockerchick
