For a couple of days now! I ran my Spyware, defragmented, did a disc clean up, cleared my tempory internet files and history but my browser is still going very slow. What can I do now. I hadn't made any changes to cause this to happen.

Here's what pcpitstop came up with:
Remove internet cache
Remove temp. files
Optimize internet connection settings
Unnecessary programs: QuickTime and Tkbellexe
Remove invalid CLSID entries
Remove invalid ProgId entries
Remove invalid TypeLib entries
Remove invalid Interface entries
Readjust Windows settings:
Window max./min. animation
Start Menu delay (ms)
Non-fragmentation block file size
Speed up NTFS volume files
Disable screen saver on degrag

try a program like RegSeeker (yes it's FREE). it will clean up your registry. if all that doesn't work then you may have some thing like your RAM not working. (may have fallen out of place or crack if you move you computer around a lot like i do [I'm a big gamer]) That can be check simply by Right click on My Computer and going to Properties.

Deleted some unneeded files could help (add/remove programs, delete unneeded files, defrag, and restart) or depending on if you computer is an older model you could just need more RAM sticks. Talk with people at Circuit city or even Best Buy and they can give you more info.

Delete some unneccesary programs...you've really done everything else you can do. Music and Picture files use a lot of memory and can slow a computer down.

Press Ctrl + Alt + Del and open Task Manager.

Go in Processes and see which Process is taking up so much of your CPU and memory.

Put that process name in Google to see whats going on.
