Self proclaimed experts claim that. That is a based on the assumption that climate will warm 5 to 7 degrees C suddenly because of their bogus contrived theory that it will increase water in the atmosphere. That didn't happen during previous periods when it was warmer so their theory is that somehow the warming from human produced CO2 is different and will cause all sorts of extra warming called positive feedback. The simple physics, probably not to some, is that the increased warming from CO2 is already at about 3/4 of the insulation or forcing so that extra quarter of a percent is supposed to cause all these drastic changes. They are nothing but leftist political activists using alarmist propaganda to push their bogus agenda. 70 percent is just a number that someone came up with in their focus group meetings. It has absolutely nothing to do with anything in the real world.
