To be honest I have not checked because we are rural enough that it is not the worry it is in larger cities and I am afraid of what I might do.
I find it reprehensible that offenders are allowed to leave prison without tattoos on their foreheads, castrated and lobotomized .
This crime has been shown to have next to NO rehabilitation (ie. massive recidivism, in other words- once a pervert always a pervert).
I am a huge supporter of human rights but when a deviant behavior cannot be changed, the deviant should be put down.

I have checked it, the only problem that I have with it is that I know that there are people on there that were 18 and had 17 year old girlfriends who's parents turned them in. I wish it said exactly what the charges were because that's not the same as raping/molesting. I guess you're guilty either way, but it's a little different in my eyes.

I live two blocks from a school and they are supposed to stay away from schools
but yes just on the border there are a couple that everyone knows about
I hate it
should all be in jail forever

i have a few in my area but only one that is close. we all check in this neighborhood and we make sure that everyone knows. the police officers also post the picture and info of the sex offender at the local stores post office and go to door to door to the nearest neighbors. so my answer is yes we all check all the time:)

Actually, yes. We didn't have to check though, as soon as he moved into the neighborhood the authorities alerted us to the fact that he was here.

Yes... They have to live somewhere....
However IF they come a-calling they will be fed to the hogs and never found nor heard from again....aaaaaaaaaaagh life is fair !!!
