My uncle wants me to see this movie called "bringin down the house". He has been telling me to watch it for the past year and I havent really gotten around to it or felt like it. its the first thing he tells me every time he sees me so it must be good. ha says i'm going to die laughing at this movie but I just want to know a little about the movie cuz i have nooo idea what its about and he syas its kind of like our family, not that you know what my family is like... but I just want a little insight! thanks!

well, its a real kool movie and i agree wit your uncle it is funny...starring queen latifah and steve martin, it is an entagled story of fate and love. American lawyer(steve martin)meets a gal of his dreams on an online dating community who finally turns out to be an afro american junkie(queen latifah) framed for a crime she did not commit. After having met her steve is horrified of the fact that she is an escape convict. Latifah wants steve to take her case and prove that she is innocent. She is stubborn and stalks him untill he agrees to take over her case. In the meantime steve is going through a divorce and is home alone wit his two kids and so hires latifah as their baby sitter. It is then that a whole lot of events sparks a flame of love between the two.
I really hope u watch the movie....it is worth it....have fun..cheers

The movie does have some laugh out loud moments. Queen Latifah and Steve Martin are in it.
Steve Martin plays a lawyer who's going through a divorce, and Queen L was framed for a crime she didn't commit and meets him through an online dating program.
Comic relief comes in a variety of forms, but one of the best elements of the movie is when the father from American Pie (levy) develops a crush on Latifah.
Definitely worth watching.

It's quite a funny movie that you can have a good laugh. Much better than many of those "try to be funny" movies.
With Queen Latifah and Steve Martin, you won't be disappointed in being funny.
