It would be stupid for the Lions to waste their time on a WR, they need to take the tackle from Wisconsin to shore up the line so that the QB doesn't have to run for his life every play.

OL Joe Thomas, Wisconsin, Sr.
The Outland Trophy winner is best interior college lineman in the nation and is also the top O-line NFL prospect.
Any successful general manager would pick the best offensive tackle available. You can't run or pass the ball without a good offensive line.
So if Millen doesn't wise up then he should start packing his bags.

some people think that after his sugar bowl performance, that Brady Quinn may still be availible by the time the lions get their pick. I personally think hes the best QB in the draft, but if the lions cant get him, than definately Jamarcus Russell.

Probably Quinn because he has experience and so he can help the team NOW. Russell is good but he will take some time to develop enough to play good. But Quinn can make some good plays with a short amount of adjustment time.

knowing matt millen they will probably go for c.johnson, when they need defense.he has gone for a big college WR. every year. but i agree, jamarcus russell is a beast and with the right coach he could be one of the greats.
