Well, I started known her when we were at the age of 11, we were still on school then. She is Malay, she loves to smile, but she don't smile much in photos and she never show her teeth in photos either. Someday if I fix a date to meet her, I will love to take lots of photos of her and using the camcorder to video her. Do you think she will smile in photos? Well, her teeth is pearly white & straight, like she wore braces before, but she didn't.

just let her be herself - when she is in the right frame of mind, she, herself, will smile. forced smiles never look right anway. with the video camera, with all the movements going on, you are bound to capture a smile from her, without her even knowing it and it will be natural. be glad to get any pictures of her to capture her forever.

I have friend and she does not smile on photos, eather. I tried to make her smile on photos and show her teeth, but no !!! Even her mother couldn't make her to do it. But... once when we were chatting and laughing, I caught her smiling and ... there's her photo! I suggest you to do the same. Just be ready, and you should always have camera next to you! :D

i used to wear braces
and my teeth are very white and straight
but i dont smile with my teeth showing in pictures
its just the way i am

You cannot "make" someone smile if they don't want to. Clearly, for whatever reason, she doesn't want to.
