xbox360 live problems?

Iam trying to connect to xbox live but the ip address has failed. Its asking me to enable "dhcp" where will i find this? I have a router which connects to the ethernet connection on my harddrive. I dont normally use a computer so step by step instructions please

first call them and they will tell u what to do so call the xbox livee ppl

have u tried to actually plug in the xbox 360 into the router or did u connect it to ur computer
