intramural sports are a great way for different teams within a school to get together and play sports and get to know others in a casual setting.different fraternity's, or clubs in the school can field a team and play.it is not an official NCAA sports franchise,although it can get competitive when the right teams get involved.alot of fun.

intramural sports are played by teams within a given college. unlike varsity and club sports, you never or rarely play students from other colleges. intramural sports are really fun if you like a casual athletic environment; generally, there is no training and little practice involved. intramural leagues are also known to host sports not normally played competitively-- dodgeball, ultimate frisbee, etc.

Yeah, intramural sports are just teams within the given college playing against each other. They give you something to do if your bored, you get some exercise, and meet new people.
