BLAH this is so frustrating. Okay I'm sure that if someone went up to him and told him that he was ignorant because he was black he would have a problem with it. The problem is that people seem to think that racism is going to go away even though they are racist themselves. Honestly he is not worth your time and that's something that's going to be hard for you to understand now but you will later. The same thing happened to me my sophomore year of high school and I was blown away by it...I was like how are you not attracted to me because I am white?!?!?

He seems to be bigoted against White people in general so don't take it personal.
Move on to other friends (Black or White) who will accept you for who you are.
I'm Black, and I have friends who are White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, and Bi-racial.
It may hurt to move on, but you should move on and meet new friends.

he must have had some bad experiances with some whites. so maybe he's mentally affected by that. or maybe thats the environment he grew up in. his family just may not trust whites. if it is some mental block try talking to him and ask him what is wrong. if he still can't bother just forget it. he may be a racist and its not worth it.

you should tell your friends they are being idiotic and totally too closed minded. :/ Love is love. no count number number the size structure or color of someone no human being must be able to inform you you're incorrect for crushing on someone it really is not the same race as you. :)

then, my dear, no matter how wonderful he seems, he is a racist jerk. yes, racism can go both ways. he is being shallow and superficial, and you shouldnt worry about him anymore. if you really, really wanna push the issue, you could ask him why your skin color bothers him, and see if its his family's opinion about whites, or if he just has a stereotypical idea of what whites are like.

it shouldnt matter if you white or black, we are all people.
and if that doesnt work leave him. why waste your time on this one guy if he doesnt even want to be your friend cuz your white.
