Every county has a agricultural extension agent. If you look in the phone book under County Government you should find it. They can tell you what plants will do well in your area. Look for a native plant group in your area. That way you can be sure to find plants that will grow where you are.

Go to a local garden center. Go to the library and look for books that tell you what planting zone you are in. Talk to people who grow things. Have Fun!
