If ya get cold ya put a sweater on, right? Now, please bear with me, cause this is a psychological question.

You get cold in the house, you put on you're sweater, and you don't turn up the heat, and you get warm, right?

So one cold person, plus one sweater, equals one warm person : problem solved.

Here's the psychological part. How come the minute people see you've put the sweater on, they put up the heat to make you warm!

Then you end up sweating to death. So you take the sweater off. So they figure you don't need the heat anymore so they turn the heat down!

Then, of course! You get cold and you must put you're sweater back on again....And so on into infinity!

Someone told me that is control. I believe it, cause' if they would just mind they're own business like they should be doing and simply stop worrying about you and take care of themselves, there would be know problem!

Doesn't sound like a big one. Add in fuel bills, breathing and skin problems.

Wow!! That's a whole lot of shakin' going on!! I wouldn't search for psy. games there. If my husband put a sweater on I would go turn up the heat because I adore him (40 years now) and I would want the whole house to feel comfortable. I wouldn't just leave him sitting there in his chair if I could see what he was saying in the air!! You need a hobby!! Maybe Clue?? You had me going there for awhile Honey. It reminded me of the old I LOVE LUCY shows!! You're a little dickens, aren't you??? Hmmmmmmm???
A little bit????? Good Luck!! @8-)

I would rather have the heat on then put on a sweater. But in my house I wear a sweat shirt and sweat pants and I'm still freezing cold because for some reason my house is really cold. So I need to have the heat on.

Simple communication could solve this problem completely. Explain to the person changing the thermostat that it is more cost efficient for you to put a sweater on than for them to turn up the heat. Tell them clearly and politely that you appreciate their efforts to keep you comfortable but you would prefer instead if they just waited for you to tell them that the sweater isn't working and now the heat needs to be turned up rather than trying to interpret your thoughts by a simple gesture.

I would appreciate it if someone turned the heat up for me. Maybe I'm too lazy to do it myself, or I think everyone else will be too hot. I'm always cold, so I'm glad to turn the heat up a little, but don't want the others to be uncomfortable. If there is control involved, it's not meant to be mean. I don't know of anyone who takes care of every little thing for themselves. Sometimes we just make do, and then appreciate it when someone else thinks of our comfort. By your standards, we shouldn't give gifts to others, either, nor do anything nice for each other. I know some people who think much like you do, and they are immature. They always think someone is trying to control them. There is a point where it becomes cloying, but generally, people like to be thought of.

I think the problem here is that you fail to appreciate the fact that someone actually cares about your comfort.
You suggest that they all just mind their own business. Unfortunately, too many people do that already. They don't stop to help, or call the police when someone is being mugged. They don't give recognition to a homeless person, hoping that they can just "pretend" them away. Out of sight, out of mind, right?
Is this truly the world you wish for? Not me.

it varies.... if you're utilising highway speed-40 5 or higher, it makes use of in reality a sprint better gas than known if you're utilising "on the city"- sluggish speeds, consistent scuffling with & starting up(purple lights furniture, end signs and indicators and alerts, etc.), it makes use of alot better gas the version is that as immediately as your engine is operating at higher RPMs once you're utilising speedier, it particularly is way a lot less resistance to spin the a/c, at slower speeds or starting up &scuffling with it takes better gas to advance up because of the better drag of the serpentine belt the version is often minimum regardless of the straightforward undeniable reality that, 4 to 5 mpg distinction at the same time as the a/c is on......the better cutting-edge the motor vehicle, the better functional it particularly is,. its something they have made better functional via format

Don't be cold hearted. Rip the thermostat from the wall problem solved or you could try oral communication.
