why do women want to change men and not themselves?

You hear so many cases with good intentions that its best for a man to change to this degree or another. Why doesnt a woman change her perspective or way of thinking?

I think this depends on the woman in question.I know I have tried in past relationships to "change" a man, but only to a degree such as putting down the lid, picking up after himself or possibly helping with dishes. I know a man won't change unless he wants to and I'm ok with that. But a lot of woman take a man that isn't their perfect ideal and try to make him something else and that's just arrogence on their part and a receipe for a failed relationship. Women can be very rigid about changng themselves but it all boils down to this, to make any relationship work, adjustments will need made on both sides to make it last.

Because they are perfect (yeah right) or didn't you know that? Well the truth is the female mind is an extremely haunted house and in the real world (not the PC bull s*it world) this is something that they all do for some reason they all believe they can do better or be happier if you change but take it from me they are never satisfied and when and if you do change even if you do act and become exactly what they want its still not going to be good enough. Stay true to your self if she wants you to change leave it may be painful but not as painful as actually changing and still loosing her anyway.

Well that question can be ask like this Why do Men want to change Women and not themselves? You see I mention that because we All as humans need to change and there is always room for Improvement. When persons Men & Women learn to stand up and take action for what concerns them and make changes within themselves and learn to Like/Love themselves then the only thing that needs to be change is circumstances/issues ect.. I have learn not to expect anything from anyone. As long as I respect self and others like/love self and others abide by the law work take care of what I own the rest is what it is.

it's a question of perspective. every one changes in some degree, men and women. some women want to change their men others dont, that part is a question of personality. not ALL women are like that. i'm not like that. so basically it's a question of perspective and personality.

When God made man, it was realized it was a mistake, went back to the drawing board, & made women......................( joking! ) I don't change my man! I just didn't like stepping over his clothes on the floor! Until one day a women lost her husband, she said she spent many years telling him to pick up his clothes, put down the toilet seat! now that he has passed away, she wished the clothes were back on the floor! So ladies, go easy on the Men!!

Well women think that chaning themselves will ruin their lifestyle and organized way of living. Since men dont usually have a specific way of living, they are usually much easier to change. Plus they go along with it!

Because when guys are getting some, we get whipped and try to change. Women know this and use it.
