I PERSONALLY EXPECT A LOT FROM MY HUSBAND BUT I ALSO AM READY TO GIVE HIM A LOT TOO. I EXPECT HIM TO BE MY BEST FRIEND, TO UNDERSTAND ME, TO BE ON MY SIDE, TO SUPPORT ME AND MY DECISIONS, TO BE MY LOVER , TO RESPECT ME, TO BE THE SHOULDER FOR ME TO CRY ON. ALSO TO BE HONEST WITH ME, TO CRITICISE ME WHEN I DESERVE IT, TO TELL ME THAT HE LOVES ME AND HOW MUCH HE LIKES ME. TO MAKE ME FEEL SPECIAL. I DON'T CARE ABOUT PRESENTS AND STUFF, BUT THEY WOULDN'T HURT TOO. I EXPECT US TO BE A TEAM AND AND DEAL WITH EVERYTHING TOGETHER. FOR GOOD AND BAD, FOR RICHER AND FOR POORER. I KNOW IT SOUNDS LIKE A CLICHE, BUT IT'S TRUE FOR ME.

Expect? Hm. I expect my husband not to abuse, lie, cheat, or steal from me and other people in the world. I expect my husband to be respectful to everyone, but firm with his convictions when necessary. I expect my husband to be open minded and learn from new experiences and ideas. I expect my husband to help provide for his family. I expect my husband to be a decent human being and an asset to the community. That is what I expect.

I have always thought that a man was suppose to help support his family. I call it contributing the the cause. In other words. If you work hard at it so will I. I don't expect him to work and me sit at home eating bon bons. And I would not accept him to sit at home either. Marriage is a 50/50 give and recieve. I wouldn't expect my husband to do something for me that I would not do for him.

No one is perfect but a good husband should support the family. ( financial)
he should love his wife and kids and want to spend time with them.
he should support his wife above all others, and back her 100%
in everything she does.
help some with the kids from time to time and the house work. this is important when both work. this work should be a 50/50 thing.

I expected a lover, a friend a partner and a father for my kids. Instead I got a philandering jerk that had time for softball basketball bowling and drinking but no time for me or his kids.
Is that too demanding? Should I not have wanted that?

Someone who's there whenever you need him the most, someone who's like a best friend but also a lover, someone who you can ALWAYS trust, someone who knows you better than you know yourself at times, and someone who knows what you expect without being asked

I expect my husband to be faithful, supportive, a provider and loving.
Don't neccessarily need his help around the house or to clean. I just need him to love me and make our family his priority.
I DO NOT expect him to be perfect....

A husband should:
Be supportive of his wife.
Help her with household duties.
Be her shoulder to cry on, her rock.
Be her cheerleader, ie: support her
Make her laugh.
Love her.
Cook for her, or take her out.
Offer to massage her.
Treat her like royalty.
Respect and listen to her.
She of course should do these for you.....

I expect my partner to be just that....a partner.
I expect him to be loyal to our commitment and respect what we have together
I DO NOT expect him to be perfect, but rather willing to acknowledge his shortcomings and be willing to change or modify. I expect him to not ask more of me, then he is willing to give of himself.
Above all else, I expect honesty.
