all it does is show me this (È for quotations È) and (é and à for both backslash and the other one the other way )
Please let me know how to fix this, because im writing an essay and its bugging me, also trying to play world of warcraft is very hard to talk to my quild members lol..

your pc or keyboard is old, get a new keyboard, the problem is unfixable, unless youve set your pc as french for the default language

If you using laptop (ThinkPad) then after you press ' press space.
If you not press space it will make the à for quotations Ã.
If thats not the case then see if one of ur key not pressed, or you on the right language (some computers contains multi language.

Go to Control Panel and click on "Keyboard" then the "Language" tab up top and see what languages are being supported. If, more than one, look down and see which selection is chosen to switch back and forth between the languages. This all I know.

Depending on the type & warranty of the keyboard, get it repaired or replaced! I m afraid that may be yur last option...
