My wife went on a weekend trip up north with her friends...trying to help out by doing laundry...but need help

OK...a couple of things (this is so embarassing) (A) I am a horrible laundry folder...especially when it comes to shirts and fitted sheets....any help/tricks? (B) What do I use to get the while filmy stuff off of the shower/tub?
