You could say it comes down to a positive thinking person..In philosophy it also means good will triumph over evil !!!! Amen..Thought is sounded good also because of it being Sunday....

It would probably be a matter of "degrees of optimistic".
Some optimists may simply have a belief that things are just as likely to get better or go well as not. Some "extreme optimists" always think things "will definitely" get better.
Pessimists tend not to allow for the possibility of anything ever betting better or going well.
